Lesley Daley is an enthusiastic and resilient woman. She began her working career as a pediatric nurse, specializing in oncology. She left the city of Los Angeles and moved to a small beach town and found her other passion: black and white photography. In addition to her RN, she has a Bachelors degree in Art, with an emphasis in design and photography.

When the true love of her life was diagnosed with cancer in 2002, she was devastated. To start her healing process and to help her husband to grow strong again, she used her photographic talents and created a collection of women's portraits and stories about their bravery with cancer.

When Lesley is not busy behind the camera, she spends time with her husband Jim and their three Labrador Retrievers at the beach.
